NAATI

The National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters Ltd (trading as NAATI) is the national standards and accreditation body for translators and interpreters in Australia. It is the only agency to issue accreditations for practitioners who wish to work in this profession in Australia.

NAATI Accreditation may by followed by few steps:

NAATI accreditation test should be passed.

Course of studies in translation and/or interpreting at an Australian institution should be complete with a NAATI Approval.

Advanced evidences should be provided in translating or interpreting

Tertiary qualification evidence should be obtained. Translation and/or interpreting Australian institution should be approved by NAATI

Membership evidence should be obtained from educational institution overseas with approved by NAATI.
